Capturing this family session with @ericanicole_25 was one of the highlights of the end of my 2022 season. The glow of her mother's love for her family was just as warm as the sunset basking over us. The laughter and southern drawl that crept out of her and her husband as they flirted and fought as only parents of young children do was infectious.
Her words after delivery hit so directly at the core of why I love motherhood photography, that I had to preserve them forever. I want you to see the light mama, I want to see that the love in your heart is art, and this life is your masterpiece - you are a masterpiece.
"So much of my postpartum season was covered in surviving and you captured all of the light and the love and helped me see it too! I love the perfect smile pictures so much, don’t get me wrong on that, but the ones where I see our family interactions shine through and can see the shine in our eyes are the ones that brought me to tears! Thank you is never enough for all of the kindness you show me, my kids, our whole family, but thank you. Truly I will cherish these!"
