FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSA

Do you require a down payment to book my date?

Yes! I require a 50% non-refundable retainer, as well as a signed contract to book your date.

How far out do you book?

For elopements and newborn sessions, I typically book 4-6 months out. For all other portraits, it is usually 2-4 months depending on the time of year.

What is your cancellation policy?

Portraits: Your retainer fee is non-refundable, but it is transferable to a new date within 6 months of the original date. There is a $50 rescheduling fee, which will be waived if due to COVID-19.

Elopements: Your retainer fee is non-refundable, but it is transferable to a new date within 12 months of the original date. If we aren’t able to fill in a new date within that timeframe or you decide to move forward with another photographer, your retainer fee will be available to use as a credit for future photo sessions within 12 months of the original date.

How many photos can we expect back?

A 60-90 minute session on average will produce approximately 30-45 images.

How will I receive my digital files?

Your digital files will be available in high resolution format, perfect for printing, in a password protected online gallery and print shop. Accessible from any phone, tablet, computer with internet access and available to share with friends and family.

When will I receive my gallery?

For weddings it’s 8-12 weeks and portrait sessions can take 3-6 weeks. As a busy mama of 2 little ones alongside shooting, editing, and running my own business, I try my very best to get you your images as quickly as I can, but certain times of the year can be busier than others.

Do we have to order prints from you?

Although I highly recommend ordering professional prints directly through your gallery to preserve the color and quality of your images, the answer is No! Once you receive your gallery, you will also have personal printing rights which means you can download your images and have them printed at your discretion.
That being said, if you decide to print from a big box chain store (Target, Walmart, Costco, Walgreens, etc) I cannot be held liable for the quality and color of your images.

Can I have the raw images?

For standard clients, the answer is no. For professional photographers, I do offer premium packages so that you may edit them to your taste.
