Tell me where the swans go in winter,
I need to know if the mute ones can sing.
Tell me why stars fall from the sky,
I need to know if it is luck they bring.
Tell me why feathers fall near you,
I need to know if you've injured your wing.
Now tell me where you end, my angel,
for I no longer know where I begin.
There are few things in life more exhilarating that waking up before dawn for an adventure with a beautiful, creative, and intelligent woman. Having the opportunity to shoot with Zina at Hall Lake in Coos Bay, Oregon remains a defining shift in my artistic vision.
Everything about Zina radiates quiet strength. She is so naturally in tune with her self and her surroundings. She moved effortlessly with the water, and I was able to capture so many unique frames as her reflection spread across the surface.
Working with women to capture their truest beauty, in the wilds of nature, has become an obsession of mine. I can't wait to see Zina again.
